This weekend we drove down to Chuckwalla Raceway, a couple hours south of Palm Springs. The desert. Where it is hot. VERY HOT. Hot enough to melt a pregnant woman, need I say more? We met our friends The Halls at the hotel in Indio. With five Hall kids running around, there is never a dull moment! We love it! Saturday morning, 6am, we drove an hour from the hotel (the closest amenity to the track) to the raceway. After a couple hours of prep Matt was ready to ride. Elisa, the kids, and I did our best to stay cool, hydrated, and entertained.

We all survived the track. Elisa, the kids, and I headed back early around 1:30. Savannah and I napped while waiting for Matt to finish up his last couple sessions. When Craig and Matt got back to the hotel we all went to dinner and then it was POOL TIME!!!! Sunday morning was spent again at the pool, then one last hoorah at McDonald's for ice cream cones before the long drive home.
