Colorado

The kids and I went to Colorado to visit my sisters and my parents (yup, the parents now live in Colorado too).  Savannah and Caleb has a blast playing with their cousins Milo and Lilah.  I ditched the kids with Grandma and Grandpa for a few days while I went to Thirty-One's National Convention...I had a blast out and about on my own and the kids managed to survive the grandparents.  Even Caleb did great!  Milo enjoyed taking Savannah and Grandpa to all his favorite places including the Library, the Museum of Nature and Science and the Aquarium.  I did my best to ditch my kids with Grandma as much as possible and go shopping with my sister :-) Oh, and we celebrated my birthday...with CAKE!!!  Here's some pics:

Throw Back Thursday!  I browsed my baby book while at my parents' house...it's no wonder where my kids get their astonishingly good looks...
Hehehehe...Caleb looks just like me!
How many chins can one kid have?
I look like a princess :-)

Dear Milo,

I had SOOOOOOO much fun playing with you in Colorado!  Thank you for taking me to all your favorite places.  I missed you so much when we came home to California.  I didn't know how else to express how much I missed you but when my friend Hunter came to play with me I called him Milo ALL morning!  Mommy had to keep correcting me.  I can't wait to play with you again soon.

The Fair and the Fourth

It seems like forever ago now, but we went to the County Fair!  Savannah rode her first fair ride and despite staying until around 9pm the kids had a ton fun.
Happy family

We also had a very busy Independence Day (SURPRISE!) It wasn't nearly as hot as the previous year.  We had a nice shady spot at the parade and barely broke a sweat the entire day!  We had some friends over for a swim in the afternoon, went to a BBQ at some other friends' house, and then went to see Fireworks.  Another late night for the kids, but they had fun :-)
Ready for the Parade
This one is for Grandma Barb!
